Is Ayaka the best DPS in the game?
Even though almost a year has passed since her release, Ayaka is still considered to be one of the best, if not, the best Main DPS unit in the game. We currently have her ranked as SS on our Genshin Impact tier list.
Ayaka is amazing as a Sub-DPS. Her Elemental Burst packs outstanding damage without her taking much field time. As for the Elemental Skill, it generates a good amount of energy for her team while dealing mediocre damage. Ayaka can work well with many characters as a Sub-DPS.
Xiao is still perfectly capable of dealing huge chunks of damage to all sorts of bosses, and can effortlessly clear Abyss 12 with the right team. Being Anemo, Xiao is very simple to play, which more casual players would gladly prefer.
2/10 Why Eula: Her Normal Attacks Are Stronger
Also, Eula's most optimal non-Burst attacks don't consume Stamina whereas Ayaka will need tons of Stamina for charged attacks to maximize her Cryo infusions.
Xiao. He deals more damage overall, his signature weapon grants him a massive boost and his c6 is the most broken thing in the game.
Should you pay for the Ayaka Banner in Genshin Impact? If you have the Primogems to spare, yes, you should pull on Ayaka. She's a fantastic DPS and will be even more valuable given the foes you'll fight in the Inazuma region.
Also Known As. AyaLumi is the femslash ship between Kamisato Ayaka and Lumine from the Genshin Impact fandom.
Her abilities also have short cast times, making her viable for quick swap playstyles and compositions as well. As a Cryo DPS in Genshin Impact, Kamisato Ayaka can shine the most when put in mono-freeze teams or perma-freeze teams. She is a great alternative to Ganyu to create a more updated Morgana lineup.
That 'someone' is commonly speculated to be Lumine (Traveler). Xiao gives Lumine a butterfly amulet on her birthday. In Chinese culture, a butterfly represents young love and symbolizes an undying bond between lovers, as well as immortality. Xiao also states that the amulet is made to stave off evil.
He's an excellent DPS pick on his own thanks to his transformation attacks and high base stats. While he performs best with an awesome team comp by his side, you'll want to focus on improving Xiao's build if you want him to stop pulling his punches.
Who is Xiao most ship with?
Xiao and Lumine make the perfect couple with Xiao protecting her and Lumine comforting him. If you have Xiao in your Serenitea Pot, he would even say that the pain from his karmic debt became easier to bear when Lumine appeared in his life.
1/12 Xiao Loves Zhongli
This was shown when he protected Liyue from Osial, despite the fact that he believed the Geo Archon to be dead.

Damage per second, not damage per screenshot
Out of all the characters released in Genshin Impact so far, Xiao has the highest base attack at level 90 at 349. With that kind of scaling, he can deal tons of damage without relying on elemental reactions.
There are some DPS as well that are categorized as a "Selfish Main DPS" Meaning they are characters who don't do as much damage unless they're stricly on the field or have their burst up. Examples being Razor, Xiao, Childe and Eula.
In terms of weapons, Ganyu is far more F2P friendly compared to Xiao. The Qilin works greatly with the forgeable bow, Prototype Crescent. Meanwhile, Xiao can temporarily use Prototype Starglitter, but this weapon is far from optimal for him. However, both units perform brilliantly with Paimon's Shop Blackcliff Weapons.
2) Use the correct weapon
In Genshin Impact, Ayaka is among the characters that possess a high base attack value. As a result, Ayaka should use weapons to boost her high attack. It's even better if players can get their hands on the weapon with a Critical Damage sub-stat. A 5-star sword would be fantastic for her.
In terms of attack speed, Xiao surpasses Diluc, as Claymore wielding characters have slower attacking speed compared to other weapon carriers. Polearm users can dish out multiple hits per second, whereas claymore users are usually slower because of the heavy weapon mechanism.
If you aren't using a second Anemo character, you may want to focus on energy recharge rate as Xiao burns through energy quickly. Xiao works best as a carry DPS – he should be active on the field as often as possible.
Xiao is a strong main DPS character, but needs special support for it. He moves around the field a lot, which doesn't make energy recharge easy, and he continuously loses HP during his ultimate. These weaknesses need to be compensated for.
Turns out being the younger of the two siblings gave Ayaka an advantage. Her in-game talents are more generous and more creative compared to Ayato. Ayaka's main advantage when it comes to talents is that her dodge/evade or sprint is a Cryo version of Mona's, making her one of the best characters for exploration.
Is Ayaka stronger than Ayato?
Ayato isn't the best at chamber 2 because there are only two Ruin Guards for the challenge. Ayaka is better suited for this chamber because her Elemental Burst can hit both enemies simultaneously, dealing devastating damage.
Hence, after considering all factors, Ayaka is a better character than Venti because of her versatility. She's far more relevant in the meta, whereas Venti can be replaced by the likes of Kazuha and Sucrose. Having said that, Genshin Impact players should always wish for the characters that excite them the most.
Ayaka does have some feelings towards the Traveler, and that has been quite evident in the game. However, it is emphasized that during the Prayer Plaques scene, the Traveler is only thinking about reuniting with their sibling which makes Ayaka believe that they are not meant to be together.
Ayaka told him that she was delighted to meet him face-to-face. Ayaka states that she now considers Aether as a friend after fulfilling the 3 small wishes for her.
ChiLumi is the het ship between Tartaglia and Lumine from the Genshin Impact fandom.
It is, by far, her best 4-star sword, and it's completely F2P-friendly. Add in a Blizzard Strayer artifact set to complete her equipment.
There's not a huge difference in their traditional comps, although I default to Ganyu in the overworld. As a person with both at c0, I would choose Ayaka hands down. Ayaka can be quick swap or main dps, but Ganyu really only has one playstyle unless you wanted her for burst support.
Ayaka is a top-class DPS that deals powerful Cryo attacks. She can imbue her sword with Cryo whenever she uses her sprint. This allows her to have an almost 100% uptime for Cryo application. She has good scaling and can fit in most Cryo-reaction comps.
Xiaother is the slash ship between Xiao and Aether from the Genshin Impact fandom.
Lumimon is the friendship between Lumine and Paimon from the Genshin Impact fandom.
Who is Diluc shipped with?
Jean + Diluc is likely most players' first ship in Genshin Impact as the first chapter of the Archon Quest occurred in Mondstadt. Jean is the Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius, while Diluc was a knight himself. The two came from two of the most prominent families in Mondstadt, Gunnhildr, and Ragnvindr.
You're not guaranteed to get Xiao, even if you pull from his banner. Luckily, Genshin Impact does feature a Mercy system. If you conduct 89 attempts without getting a five-star reward, you're guaranteed a five-star item on your 90th pull. The guaranteed five-star item has a 50 percent chance to be Xiao.
There's not a real number for how much is good for him, but just try to get as much as possible while keeping his crit rate above ~65%. Crit rate is more important. Try to aim for at least 160%.
His burst infuses Xiao's weapon with Anemo, converting all his hits into Anemo. If players build him on physical attack, then Xiao will lose the bonus while this burst is active. Considering players should attempt to have his burst active as often as possible, building Xiao with physical is a great mistake.
Venti has a Crush on Aether - Genshin Impact Comic Dub.
HuXiao shippers often think that Xiao would be protective towards Hu Tao and Hu Tao might be the one to help Xiao find peace/happiness. Many HuXiao shippers like the ship due to their fun dynamic, angst potential, and many thematic similarities. A key point is their shared associations with butterflies and death.
Noemine is the femslash ship between Noelle and Lumine from the Genshin Impact fandom.
It is implied that Xiao knows of Rex Lapis' mortal form with evidence from his voiceline "About Zhongli", referring to Zhongli as 'Zhongli-daren' and 'Zhongli-sama' in the Chinese voice and Japanese dub respectively.
14/15 He Does Not Sleep
One might wonder how does a person like Xiao or even some of the gods in Liyue slumber or rest. The answer is that they probably don't. Well, Xiao doesn't, or at least that's what he implies when confronted about his drowsiness.
This story tells a love story between Xiao Nai and Bei Weiwei. It is a commercial success in China. It is one of the most-watched Chinese modern dramas, with over 25.2 billion views online.
What is Xiao highest damage?
Damage per second, not damage per screenshot
Out of all the characters released in Genshin Impact so far, Xiao has the highest base attack at level 90 at 349. With that kind of scaling, he can deal tons of damage without relying on elemental reactions.
The Primordial Jade-Winged Spear is Xiao's best weapon, as it was essentially made for him. It's straightforward, boosting the wielder's critical rate - which is good for Xiao, whose crit rate rises as he levels up - and can boost their attack by 33%.
His C6 can allow for Xiao to use his E skill 5 times, but only during his burst duration where his E can't generate energy particles.
1/15 Xiao (27/349)
However, based on damage alone, Xiao most certainly qualifies as a heavy hitter (should the player avoid a few major mistakes) — Xiao has the highest base attack in Genshin Impact.
Xiao is a bit hard to control during combat and may take some time to get used to. Especially for mobile players, his burst is really hard to use, but he is still fun nevertheless. Hu tao is satisfying to play and her burst is a nuke so you could get some really high numbers that you never reached before.
Xiao had faced nothing but karma and cursed energy throughout his life. The only thing he has ever learned was suffering, and thankfully, he learned how to control it. At least he thought he did... until one day the pain became so bad, he couldn't control it and became corrupted once more.
Interestingly, in terms of damage, Ayaka overshadows Ganyu easily. However, Ganyu is a very versatile character and arguably is the only character to fulfill both roles perfectly. Therefore, she can be an immense help in Spiral Abyss as well as open-world challenges.

Meanwhile, most of Ayato's Constellations make his main mode of damage-dealing all the more energetic and enjoyable. But at the same time, some of Ayato's Constellations also bolster his defense and increase his overall damage at the same time. All in all, it seems Ayato's Constellations are worth more than Ayaka.
I would choose Ayaka over Kaeya any day because she's a waifu. Because Ayaka is statistically more powerful than Kaeya.
Is Ayaka better or Venti?
Hence, after considering all factors, Ayaka is a better character than Venti because of her versatility. She's far more relevant in the meta, whereas Venti can be replaced by the likes of Kazuha and Sucrose. Having said that, Genshin Impact players should always wish for the characters that excite them the most.
It is, by far, her best 4-star sword, and it's completely F2P-friendly. Add in a Blizzard Strayer artifact set to complete her equipment.
Qiqi is the best character in sheer healing capabilities in the cast so far, and this is her main asset as a character. Both her elemental burst and skill provide passive healing, meaning that it is easy to activate her skill and switch to a different character.
- Black Sword.
- Blackcliff Longsword.
Ayaka's Character Details states that Ayato is her elder brother and the leader of the Kamisato Clan.
While Xingqiu, due to his Elemental Burst, might be the best, Ayaka also works well with other good Hydro appliers, like Sangonomiya Kokomi and Mona. One of the newer characters added to Genshin Impact, Shenhe, also works great with Ayaka.
Just like with Hu Tao, Ayaka and Yanfei are a duo to deal multiple Melt damage. Furthermore, Ayaka's Elemental Skill is also a great help to fill Yanfei's Elemental Burst.
1) Kokomi. Kokomi is a great choice to pair with Ayaka, especially in a Freeze team. She can provide a ton of Hydro uptime while being off-field, thanks to her Bake-Kurage jellyfish. This will also provide healing, so players won't need to play as cautiously, which can be especially helpful in the Spiral Abyss.
